Houlihan's was on the North side of the mall, just inside the Peachtree Road entrance. Magic Pan was in the north and west-facing entrance that led into the mall in the Neiman-Marcus wing. There was and is a stairwell that led from the plaza level and into the mall, coming out more or less directly across from what was J.P. At another time, one of the mall's Mori stores was also there and perhaps still is. In the earliest days of the mall, there was also a Dipper Dan ice cream shop on the Plaza Level, and Merle Norman cosmetics and a Colonial Stores grocery. The plaza level featured Pet Village with its distinctive mural and which was perpendicular to the lower level/South entrance to Rich's (now Macy's), the aforementioned Toy and Hobby (I used to get Corgi diecast cars there) and jewelry store, a bakery, the S&S Cafeteria, and S.S. I worked at the first Banana Republic in the summer of '88, at Britches of Georgetown for Christmas '88, and at Mark Shale from Fall of '89 until Fall of '91. My other grandmother worked at the mall, first at Neiman Marcus and then at J.P. This egress was eliminated when the MARTA rail line was extended to the mall in the 80s. We used to go to the mall via East Paces Ferry. My grandparents lived in the neighborhood that bordered the Lenox property on the West side, now called Lenox Park. It is really not known why the lower level was sealed off. A mall entrance to Rich's was also down there. Prior to the enclosing of the mall in 1972, this was actually shopping space with several shops including a Kresge. A lower level known as the Plaza Level is now exclusively offices. Part of Lenox Square does not actually connect to the rest of the mall. ![]() Along with Phipps Plaza, Lenox Square remains part of the most upscale shopping district in Georgia sitting on tony and world-famous Peachtree Street. In 1995, the mall received another level between the atrium and the mall entrance next to Rich's. In 1980, the previously open-air court to the rear of the mall was enclosed into a three-level atrium with a food court and access to then-under-construction MARTA. It was enclosed in 1972 with the addition of Neiman Marcus. It was open air and had Rich's, Davison's and a Colonial Supermarket as its anchors. It opened in 1959 as the first mall in Georgia. Lenox Square has changed much to keep up with the times, and the area around it has changed even more as the city around it grew taller and taller. Just so you know.Panoramic shot of Rich's and early Lenox Square in the 1960's from the GSU photo collection. It's about a 40 minute ride on MARTA and then you will have to walk to the mall (about 5-10 minutes).īy the time you make your way to the airport shuttle, ride the bus, buy the Breezecard, ride the train, and walk to the mall, you will not be left with much time for shopping. You need to board a Gold Line train to get to Lenox, although on weekends it's common for MARTA to single track, so in that case any train leaving the airport will go to Lenox. ![]() There are kiosks to purchase the required Breezecard ($1) and add at least two fares to it ($2.50 each). not the overhead train you will see outside). The bus drops off right near the MARTA station, which is *inside* the terminal (i.e. To get from International arrivals to the Domestic terminal you will need to take the airport shuttle bus. Even *with* preclearance I am not sure you will make it. I assume you are arriving from YOW and will be pre-cleared? If not then you probably will not make it to Lenox in time. Definitely no luggage storage at the airport, but don't know about Lenox itself.

If you feel like your KPIs are too low, A/B might help with the solution.Ryan Pinkham Last Modified: Septem5 min read A/B testing fonts and other newsletter elements can help you find options with better engagement, click-through rates, conversion rates and ROI.Consider what fonts and font sizes will work best for each of these elements and whether it’s worth it using not a web-safe font. There is a big choice of fonts outside of web-safe fonts - display fonts like Hello Rogest, script fonts like Liesel, and others. The headline, teaser text, images with cutlines and pull quotes along with the body text form a visually appealing email. This is considered a good practice for a website font size, and could help as reference for an email. You also may want to consider setting font size at at least 16 px. Different email clients will display the text differently and it may be both bigger and smaller than you expected. Make sure to use font size that can be easily read even when small.Choosing a compatible font is very important to make sure all subscribers can read the email. Email clients can display the basic web safe fonts correctly, while the other typefaces will show up in some but won’t appear in others. When choosing fonts, consider the following: In the example below, Courier uses 16 px font size in their newsletter to make sure it is easy to read at desktop and mobile alike:įont selection plays a critical role in how the newsletter is perceived and as a result in the success of the marketing campaign. Ideally, choose a font that is clear even at 11 px, ensure the font-weight is decent and try to get a 1.15 line spacing. So you may want to use the minimum font size of at least 16 px to make sure it is easy to read on any device. ![]() Decorative fonts might not be legible at this size and the readers might decide to just abandon the newsletter altogether. ![]() In addition, the subscribers will open the email on a variety of devices with different screen sizes and email clients. Why is this important? Often, the email font size can be 11-12 px, which is quite small on the desktop and hard to read on mobile. In general, sans serif fonts are more suited for the web because they are easier to read even when they are small size. The type of font and its size are important factors that impact its readability.
